Capcom: Fine! I’ll do it myself!

Well, the old saying goes, if you want something done, you do it yourself, and for Capcom, that message ring true because they are overhauling their plans to let M-2 for Resident Evil 4 remake and starting partially over.

According to VGC, apparently, a disagreement between M-2, the guys who worked on the Resident Evil 3 remake, and Capcom lead to Capcom reducing their roles and having Capcom division one come into making the game

Apparently, their disagreement was about what route they should take the Resident Evil 4 remake in. Apparently, M-2 wanted to be extremely faithful to the original game, while Capcom wanted them to spice it up a little bit by staying faithful but adding some new elements. Ultimately Capcom won, and now the game probably won’t be released until 2023

Ultimately I’m happy about this news since Resident Evil 3 remake was my most disappointing game of 2020, not because it was bad, but it didn’t live up to the quality that Resident Evil 2 remake had set. So to hear that the team that was behind Resident Evil 3 is making one of my favorite video games of all time really hurts and made me extremely nervous.

However, now that division one is working on it, which was the same people who did Resident Evil 2 remake, I believe that this project will be good because the Resident Evil 2 remake is a blast to play. It is my third favorite Resident Evil game. However, Capcom does tend to mess up things when they shaved too far from the formula *cough*Resident Evil 6*cough
